High Quality Virgin Coconut Oil (VCO) from Indonesia
What Is RBD Coconut Oil?
RBD Coconut Oil is obtained from crude coconut oil (CNO) that has been refined, bleached, and deodorized. The refining process stabilizes the oil, improves its oxidative stability, and ensures that it is safe for human consumption and suitable for various industries.
- Neutral odor and taste
- Light color (almost water–clear in liquid form)
- High saturated fat content dominated by lauric acid
- High smoke point suitable for deep frying
- Long shelf life with proper storage
RBD Coconut Oil remains solid or semi–solid at cooler temperatures and becomes clear liquid in warmer climates, which is typical for lauric oils.
Production & Processing
Our RBD Coconut Oil is produced from carefully selected copra and processed in modern, certified facilities. The typical production steps are:
- Copra selection & cleaning
High–quality copra is sourced from trusted farmers and suppliers. The copra is cleaned to remove foreign materials and impurities. - Crushing & pressing
The copra is crushed and mechanically pressed or solvent–extracted to produce crude coconut oil (CNO). - Degumming & neutralization
Phospholipids, gums, and free fatty acids are reduced or removed through chemical and/or physical refining. This improves stability and clarity. - Bleaching
The oil is treated with bleaching earth or activated clay to remove pigments, trace metals, and remaining impurities, resulting in a lighter color. - Deodorization
The oil is deodorized under high temperature and vacuum to remove unwanted odor and taste, producing a neutral–smelling oil. - Filtration & polishing
Final filtration ensures a clean, clear oil that meets food–grade and export specifications. - Filling & packing
The refined oil is filled into drums, IBC tanks, jerry cans, flexitanks, or custom packaging according to buyer requirements.
